The reason for this blog
Ok, so my sister-in-law started a blog about her ”zoo” recently, and that inspired me to start my own. In this day and age, it is a luxury to live near one’s family. In an ideal world, I would do it. In reality, I’ve been encouraged to go where school, jobs, and opportunities take me since about ninth grade! I am sure, bittersweetly, that this pattern will only continue by the time my children are grown =(
But seriously, it’s important to connect. With my extended family in completely different states, I thought it would be nice to start a blog where people can come and see what the Riddles are up to. That way, you won’t be surprised when you see how much the kids have grown in the Christmas card =)

I really need to have an education here. These are cool, but I can’t figure out how to leave a comment on Erin’s site. I have a Google registration, but doesn’t seem to work. I am really behind technically. I love these things!!!!!
